A1 Contracting was established in 2021 in response to growing client demand for fixed-price work across Tāmaki Makaurau and Waikato. Ahio Tauelangi and Dawn Leveridge took the leap to offer reliable, fixed-cost services—and the venture quickly gained momentum. Today, Ahio Tauelangi leads A1 Contracting, which proudly employs 35 of the industry's top concrete placers, finishers and qualified carpenters.
We are currently involved in major projects across the Tāmaki Makaurau and Waikato regions, handling a wide range of concrete works including foundations, D-walls, pathways, and bridge construction. Our projects vary in size—large or small—based entirely on our clients’ needs.
With other clients quickly asking for assistance on their projects we expanded our services to include foundation works, pathways, and all major concrete works, bridge building.
